Samuel Merritt University (SMU)
Olson Steel was contracted to assist in the development of a prominent Samuel Merritt University (SMU) campus within Oakland City Center. The upcoming SMU facility is set to become the new headquarters of the campus. The 225,000-square-foot, high-rise building will break ground in mid-2023 and is slated to open to students and the community in January 2026.
