Pac 12 Studio
In this fast-track project, Olson Steel and MATT Construction converted two office floors and the roof of an occupied 7-story office building into a state of the art broadcasting studio for the PAC-12 Network. The project included multiple studios, production, post production and broadcast equipment; executive, departmental and administrative offices and work spaces; rack and mechanical rooms; as well as rooftop mounted chillers, generator and satellite receiving dishes. Despite a short 18 week schedule, Olson and MATT Construction met the Owner’s deadline, which was tied to the network’s August 2012 debut. Olson Steel handled all miscellaneous metals, which included an architectural steel stairway.
