UC Law San Francisco
Olson Steel was selected to assist in the seismic retrofit of the 28-story historic tower at 100 McAllister for UC Law SF (formerly UC Hastings), as part of the college’s plans for an academic village in downtown San Francisco. The newly repurposed building will provide housing, academic facilities, and services for colleges and universities across the Bay Area. The strengthening and repurposing of the building presented complex challenges including the precise maneuvering of steel columns through the inside of the building via crane. Olson Steel is proud to also be responsible for the miscellaneous metals and metal stairs on this historic project.
