SFO Terminal 3 West Modernization
Olson Steel has teamed up with Turner Construction Company for the Terminal 3 West Modernization Project at San Francisco International Airport, where Olson Steel’s role will involve providing the Structural Steel – Interim Corridor. This project aims to revitalize the existing 400,000 square foot western half of the terminal, incorporating a seismic retrofit, new architectural finishes, and enhanced passenger amenities. Additionally, the project will introduce 190,000 square feet of new space, facilitating the expansion of food, beverage, and retail concessions. The reconfiguration of aircraft gates will accommodate international flights, with a new elevated secure connector linking them to the Customs facility.
