Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Festival

Renovation of the existing 50,000 square foot University of California Printing Plant building and construction of a 30,000 square foot addition to create a new home for the Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive. The new facility will consist of museum galleries, PFA film theater, viewing rooms, seminar room, participatory arts lab, library, film study center, works on paper study center, café and store, administrative offices, and back-of-house operations. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification, and the new facility will open to the public in spring 2016. Olson Steel has been contracted to handle all fabrication and erection of the steel stair requirements.
