Safety as a Core Value

At Olson Steel safety is more than a core value, it’s a way of life. Steel fabrication and erection are one of the most hazardous occupations in the country. We have proudly worked to reduce our EMR by eliminating accidents from our fabrication facilities and job sites. Creating executable fabrication and field erection plans starts with educating, encouraging and enforcing safety best practices. Olson Steel supports a culture of continuous improvement – our people have access to management to provide feedback, suggest ideas and propose solutions. In addition, our people get the best tools and equipment to do their job safely. Olson Steel’s goal is to have every employee return home in the same or better manner than they arrived for the start of the work day.
